Our Story
The Black Forest is a full bakery, marketplace and restaurant in Amherst, NH. We are a destination location where you can stop in to poke around the Market, browse our large selection of home-made baked goods, or sit and dine in our restaurant.
Our Coffee
We roast our coffee weekly, in small batches, at our sister location in Nashua, NH, Riverwalk Bakery & Cafe. Riverwalk uses an “old school” Turkish drum roaster and works in small batches to ensure that we are making great, fresh coffee that reflects the unique flavors inherent in each variety of coffee bean. All of our coffees are purchased through transparent, quality-driven, and passionate specialty coffee importers from around the globe.
Our Bakery
We are a from scratch bakery and pastry shop, offering an array of pastries from cookies to pies and cakes. Stop in to pick up pastries in bulk or order ahead for a custom treat. Order through our bakeries website and select which location you prefer to pick up from.
